Advanced Professional Diploma in Applied Psychophysiology
This is not another coaching credential. This is the founding qualification of a new branch of clinical practice — one that does not improve on existing anxiety therapies. It supersedes them entirely.
You Are Not Joining a Profession.
You Are Founding One.
There are approximately one million registered psychological and psychiatric practitioners worldwide. Every single one of them was trained in a framework that the Institute of Applied Psychophysiology has now demonstrated — across 650,000 documented outcomes, an NHS-partnered clinical evaluation, and five peer-reviewed academic working papers — to be directing intervention at the wrong target.
They treat the outputs of anxiety. Applied Psychophysiology addresses the mechanism.
They produce management. Applied Psychophysiology produces permanent resolution.
Applied Psychophysiology is not a new therapy. It is a new branch of practice — one that makes every existing anxiety treatment model obsolete in the same way that germ theory made miasma theory obsolete. The practitioners who trained in the wrong framework are not bad practitioners. They were trained in the wrong science. You will not be.
The Institute of Applied Psychophysiology is the founding body of this field. The Advanced Professional Diploma in Applied Psychophysiology is its founding qualification. The practitioners who train now will be the first in the world to hold it.
There will not be another opportunity to be first.

From the First Generation of Applied Psychophysiology Practitioners
Every member of our LAR coaching team is a CLI Diploma graduate. Many of them recovered from anxiety themselves using Linden Recovery & TRT Therapy before choosing to train as coaches.
"Training with the Institute of Applied Psychophysiology was the most purposeful thing I have ever done professionally. The methodology is unlike anything else in the field — it gives you a complete, precise framework. There is no guesswork. You know exactly how to help the person in front of you, and you know it works."
Caz
Recovery Coach & Mentor, LAR
"I recovered from health anxiety and panic attacks using Linden Recovery & TRT Therapy, and when the opportunity came to train as a coach, it felt completely natural. The CLI Diploma gave me the professional grounding to take what I had experienced personally and turn it into something I could offer others with real confidence and rigour."
Lara
Recovery Coach & Mentor, LAR
"I spent most of my adult life with OCD and health anxiety. After my own recovery, I wanted to give something back. The CLI Diploma was exactly the right vehicle for that. The training is thorough, the support from the team is exceptional, and the work itself is genuinely transformative for the people you coach."
Austin
Recovery Coach & Mentor, LAR
"What I value most about the CLI Diploma is that it is built on something that actually works. Every module connects directly to the recovery mechanism — there is a coherence to it that I have not found in any other coaching qualification. The training prepared me completely for what I face with clients every day."

The Only Diploma Built on the Only Science That Produces Permanent Recovery
There are hundreds of coaching and counselling diplomas on the market. Every one of them is built on psychological frameworks designed to manage anxiety indefinitely. The Advanced Professional Diploma in Applied Psychophysiology is different in one fundamental and irreversible way.
It is built on the biology of the fear response mechanism — not on the outputs of that mechanism. Every existing therapy in the world operates on the outputs. CBT operates on thoughts. Medication operates on neurochemistry. Mindfulness operates on attention. EMDR operates on memory processing. Every single one of them leaves the mechanism intact and misfiring. Which is why every single one of them produces ongoing management rather than permanent recovery.
Applied Psychophysiology addresses the mechanism. Directly. Biologically. Permanently.
When you qualify as an Advanced Professional Diploma practitioner you are not teaching clients to cope with anxiety better. You are not helping them manage their symptoms more effectively. You are facilitating the permanent biological recalibration of the subcortical fear response — the only intervention in existence that addresses the actual mechanism of anxiety disorder rather than its downstream effects.
The difference between what you will be able to offer and what every other practitioner in the field currently offers is not a matter of degree. It is a matter of kind. An entirely different kind.
That is why our practitioners stay. Why they refer. Why the people they help come back to tell their story to the next person who needs it. And why the Advanced Professional Diploma in Applied Psychophysiology is already the most significant professional qualification available in the field of anxiety recovery — not because of what it says on the certificate but because of what it enables you to do that nobody else can.
Do I need prior qualifications?
No prior therapy or coaching qualification is required. The CLI Diploma is a complete foundational training — we will teach you everything you need from the ground up. Existing qualifications are welcomed and will complement the programme.
